Summer Trip…?

Oww… Summer Vacation.. πŸ™‚ The time when all the bachha Parties either rush to their Mamu’s place or to an exciting Summer Trip. This vacation for children, we can also consider for all the Mummas… πŸ˜‰ Making plans for the holidays is the parallel process, they do while the Exams are going on.

Here, I have an amazing place for you to plan a hassle free Summer Holidays in India… I’m sure it’ll be an unforgettable summer vacation, whether it’s a family break, a get together of friends, escape from your corporate existence πŸ˜€ , a romantic getaway or a honeymoon trip.

The place which fondly referred as the ‘Little Tibet’, LADAKH.

Ladakh - Travel DestinationAccording to me, it’s the finest place in North India, where you should experience the high altitude cold desert once in a lifetime. Remember the ad of Mastercard…? there are some things that money can’t buy? So, I am featuring Ladakh here πŸ™‚

A trip to Ladakh – the mighty Karakorum with its cotton-wool peaks bounds Ladakh, lofty mountain passes, beautiful lakes, and the last undisturbed home of Buddhist population. Here, the temperature varies in extremes, both, during summers and winters. And that’s the allure of Ladakh. Summer is the best time to visit this magical land of Lamas and that is why it is the top tourist place in India to visit during summer.

And what’s the most exciting thing for me, You know? The Motorcycle Trip πŸ˜€

Every summer, motorcyclists from India and the world gather in and around Delhi, Srinagar or Manali to begin your adventurous trip to Ladakh by road. Manali – Leh Highway is the favorite among the thrill seekers. I am getting goosebumps just by imagining the ride of Royal Enfield Bullet β™₯ πŸ˜‰ Recalling SRK – riding royal enfield scene from the movie, Jab Tak Hai Jaan!

Mountain passes, including the tough Baralacha La and the second highest Taglang La along with the vast mesmerizing Morey Plains and the thrilling Gata Loops which is why motorcyclists and even the four wheeler riders prefer Leh – Manali Highway for a road trip.

And the attraction is, the entire landscape of Ladakh is a sight to behold, the burnished mountainous, snow capped mountains. And some of the places like Tso Moriri and Tso Kar Lake referred to as a desert of Sky along with the beautiful glazed clouds in the sky what makes Ladakh special πŸ™‚

Also has the power to bring out hidden insect inside you, I mean the qualities in you which can make you poet, writer, thinker and a photographer too πŸ˜€

One more thing to tell you which I have read that if you are uncertain about the security because Ladakh falls in the state of Jammu and Kashmir, than it has seen almost no violence since India got Independence. πŸ™‚

I am thinking to plan a Ladakh summer motorcycle trip for sure… What do you think ???

Do what your Heart says

Diu Beach

Diu Beach

“The Priceless Beauty of Nature”
What is the first sudden thought comes in our mind by spotting such an attractive and lovely place… ???
What do our heart say ?? πŸ™‚

Of course we all just want to dart towards the Ocean and hug this delightful spot.
Just want to roll in this sand and then want to float in the cold water.
Just want to feel relax and want peace of mind.
Inside child suddenly comes out by seeing this types of stuffs or places but, everytime we can’t be Juvenile. (Due to some circumstance) 😦 :/

Today, I come with something which i can call it as a type of Credo which i really found it as it’s Reality. As i titled it as “do what your heart says”, I am lil bit sure that if you’re scrolling through this corner, you will surely wait for a while to look at this topic and read something in this. πŸ™‚ Actually, I am just writing this because I extremely felt that sometimes how we behave like a clod and take the decision unwisely. And this what we feel after the right time goes. So, at last we are just having nasty regret and regret. At that time, we might feel that we are in deadly darkness but, β€œHappiness may be found even in the darkest times if only one remembers to turn on the light.” πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

It might happen to everyone and may still happen, that you deeply want something, but you are not able to do so. The reasons can be anything such as, I am in adolescence phase now; I have grown up, it looks awkward, what people will think, what people will say, I shouldn’t do this and much more… But, what I am thinking is you are having a precious life, so let live that with full of pleasure and enjoyment.

Also, we should keep in our mind that due to our childish steps, the others shouldn’t get suffer. Think twice before taking any decision! Ask your heart what it says πŸ™‚ and then implement it… πŸ™‚ Surely, you will feel hush. Because, at last you are the only person who needs to face the problems gonna occur in future. Nobody is going to stand with you and this is the bitter truth of life !!! 😦 At least, at the end you don’t need to blame any other for what’s going on in your life cause, you choose this way by your own πŸ™‚

So, Be the child and ask your heart what it says…… πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

Kankhal – A Mythological Place (In Laws House of Shivji)

Last Month I visited UK of India πŸ™‚ I mean to say Uttarakhand. A few places in Uttarakhand have much religious value in India, like, Haridhwar, Hrishikesh, etc. I got a chance to visit those places and a few more. One of them was “Kankhal”. Many devotees visit Haridhwar and Hrishikesh, but I bet hardly 1% of them have been at Kankhal. In fact, a very few people might have even heard about it ever. So this post is just to highlight that eternally peaceful mythological, but a lost place.

Kankhal is nearby Haridhwar, only half an hour journey from there in the car (in India we usually measure journey in time πŸ˜€ ). The place highlights the story of Shiva and Sati. You know that story na? If not, not to worry, I’m gonna tell you today πŸ™‚ If yes, still read, there might be something, you might not know. πŸ™‚

Mythological Story Related To Kankhal
When Brahmaji(God) started creating the earth, the first place he created was “Kankhal”. After constructing the whole earth, he gave responsibility to run the life on earth to his elder son, namely, “Daksh”. He was a very religious and believes in Goddess “Shitala”. He worshipped and asked her to get born in his house as his daughter. She granted her wish and he got a daughter, namely, “Sati”. Sati got married to Shiva (Mahadev), but Daksh wasn’t like him at all due to his dressing and other few reasons.

Because of his status, he became proudy. Once he conducted a Havan (ritual of worship with fire) and invited everyone, even insects, but didn’t invite Shiva and Sati. Sati wanted to go to Havan, but Shiva denied as he could sense the future. Sati got agitated and said, “If you think something wrong will happen to me at my father’s home, then come only after it happens.” Due to her obduracy, he allowed her to go with Nandi and other shivgana (devotees). When she reached there, Daksh insulted her and Shiva a lot in front of everyone. She felt so humiliated that she decided to commit suicide and asked fire of HavanKund to burn her. The God of fire replied, “You are Sati – the Goddess and it’s not possible for me to burn you”. Then, she created a “Yog-Agni” (fire by Yoga) and get herself burnt in it. Nandi and other devotees of Shiva ran back to Shiva and informed him about the incident. He ran over there and took the burned-body of Sati with him and started wandering in the sky. Whenever he looks at he body, a tear of anger and sadness fell down which started destructing the earth. To save the earth, Vishnuji (God) cut the Body of Sati by his Sudarshana (weapon) in 51 pieces. Each place where the body part fell is devoted as “Shaktipeeth”. For your information, In Gujarat, Pavagadh (last finger of right feet) and Ambaji (heart) are two Shaktipeeths. There can be more out of my knowledge. Coming back to story, after all these Daksh cut his head as he realised his fault. Shiva puts the head of got in place of his head and give him another life.

Kankhal - Daksh Temple

Kankhal – Daksh Temple

Coming back to Kankhal, there is a Shitalamata’s temple where Sati was born and also the wedding ritual of Sati and Shiva was performed. It is situated on the back side of the main temple. The main temple has a Havankund in entrance which is the same where Daksh kept Havan. The next temple space has another Havankund where Sati got into the fire with Yog-Agni. Then a room with unusual Shivlinga which is cut of to depict the place where Daksh cut his head. In the front side of the main temple, there is another temple with a complete Shivling. Local says that, the shiva resides there in front of Daksh (the partial shivling). So he doesn’t get proudy again.

If you will visit this place, you can literally visualize everything mentioned in the story. The most alluring thing here is the evening aarti (prayer). It will be one of the best aarties you ever witness. I find it even more better than the Ganga aarti. They perform aarti with Damroos (ancient musical instrument) with power-packed energy. You will have goosebumps with the eternal energy of the Aarti. They perform Aarti in a way so both the Shivlings (partial and intact) get worshipped at the same time by not allowing anyone to stand in between. They decorate the Shivling with flowers for evening aarti. It is performed at 7 PM. So go around that time πŸ™‚ But go with personal vehicle as it’s little far from Haridhwar city and you might not get the vehicle back to city in night after Aarti.

Last note is the place is a must visit one. If you are religious, you don’t need any further reason I guess, but if you are not religious, still you will like it as it’s more peaceful and out of the crowdy Haridhwar city. Get some peace and a different experience. πŸ™‚
