Happiness

Happiness

Life is a series of happy moments, and happiness is a celebration of life and a celebration of being alive.

Life can be lived only if you are physically and mentally present at the moment. Generally, what we do, we fret over the past and worry about the future . . . yet in the process we miss out on today’s gift.

“Welcome small joys in life, Smile, breathe and go slowly” says Zen master 🙂

You don’t need things to be happy because you are bound by the little things in life, what make you happy. Enjoy the little joys in life that come your way each day! We need to celebrate life in the smallest of wonders.

Like – The smell after it rains, listening to your favorite song three days on repeat, a warm huggy from your Maa(mother), cooking a simple but a special meal for your father, a cup of coffee with your bestie, revisiting childhood places, fully-charged battery 😀 , unexpected call from your loved one for the meetup♥, holding a baby in your arms, getting into the role after watching an action movie ;), the smell of the petrol at the petrol pump, the beauty of the colourful Rangoli, walking barefoot on grass, immature moments with your friends, photography in beautiful weather, getting the best compliments for your looks, motivation from the closest ones for your Artwork, Doodling, waking up on your birthday 😀 , finally remembering the word you had on the tip of your tongue, when someone puts a blanket over you while you’re asleep, finding out that someone loves you a lot 🙂 , seeing a smile on someone’s face just because of you, playing Galli-cricket with bachha parties, realizing that it’s Friday today, recalling the cartoon series of Tom & Jerry, Popeye, Oswald, Noddy, Scooby Dooby doo and a lot more… I think, I need to stop recalling each and everything now otherwise the list goes on 😉

I am damn sure you are matching your little joys with all of mine with some added personal ones 😉

Before some days, while coming to the office, I met an old aged women resembles to my Grandma in the lift. She was so weak that she couldn’t walk properly, her legs were shivering. She used to sit downstairs-on the benches of our apartment. That day, her son told me to let help her to reach to the bench so I just walked with her by holding her hand. She sit safely. I was getting late, so started running and I listened a hoarse voice saying, “ Beta! Aavjo, Jay shree Krishna” 🙂 It has become my routine to say Jay shree Krishna to her everyday in the morning as we meet either in the lift or downstairs. On one Saturday, our routine disrupted because of the holiday. I went downstairs nearby 11.30 am and she was still there. I sit with her for half an hour or so and just listened what she was saying. I felt my soul satisfyingly happy when I helped this very old woman, but the happiness was not just in helping her, but when she cried by holding my hands and said that what I did was the kindest thing that has happened to her that day, I made her remember the days when she and her daughter used to sit like this and talk for a long. You would be surprised to know how much satisfaction and peace you could find by helping random elderly strangers. Give it a try!

Happiness need not be materialistic. It could be extracted from stuff that you didn’t even know existed. Just be prepared to get out of your comfort zone and boundaries 😉

Freedom from Everything???

Freedom

Freedom

We Bowled It Out!!

We, Ecosmobians, love to grab the windows of fun in between our busy lives. Thus, on alternate Saturdays we have some fun events organized by our management. This Saturday, we had double fun. One was the Chess tournament and another was fun game related to cricket. Let’s have a look at each in brief.

YES Bank IPL At Ecosmob

YES Bank IPL At Ecosmob

The first event of the Saturday was a game on the theme of the cricket. The game was brought up by the “YES Bank” executives, called, YES BANK-MAXIMUM: IPL. They had set up a pitch. The game was relevant to bowling. One need to throw a ball, which must be bounced and hit the stumps. If the ball bounces on the banner of “YES Bank” on the pitch, then the player gets the 6 points. If it bounces on any other part of the pitch, then the player gets 4 points. In any other case, zero points. The customized mugs were the prizes for the winners. Dhruten and Vivek, Software Engineers won the prizes in the male category. While in the female category, Hardi, Jr. SEO, bowled the YES bank stumps. 🙂 What I did? Well, I enjoyed myself! Of curse, I bowled it out, but not stumps, something else. What? Guess.. I am sure your guesses were wrong, so, lemme tell you, I bowled out the stress 😀

Chess

Chess

After completion of the IPL, the chess tournament had started and the Ecosmobians were playing the first round of it. Top 16 will made it to the next round. It’s seriously fun to use brains in something else than the regular work. 😀 It was an amazing sight when I stepped out of my cabin and saw, on almost all systems, the chess board was opened. All were engrossed in their matches. Seriously, they were having some serious fun, I guess! 🙂

Check complete album here

Well, this is it for the last Saturday yet much more to come in the upcoming Saturdays. You just stay tuned with me and I am gonna give you the insights. Bye for now!

New Fun Happenings At Ecosmob On Weekend

We, Ecosmobians, believe in working hard and playing hard, too. We generally have different rejuvenating events on weekends and the activities on a daily basis to maintain the work life balance. Of course, we have the play area where any Ecosmobian can go anytime and have some relaxation. But, our management thrives to give us some more revitalization. So what’s going on currently at fun part?

Well, Chess tournament league has started again and participant Ecosmobians are  divided into four different teams. The practice matches, along with the strategy making for the victory is now part of the daily life for the participant Ecosmobians. In a very short time, final matches will be started and I am excited to see those good moves (neah not dance moves, the chess moves) of the players.

Stress Reliving Session

Stress Reliving Session

Also, last weekend our management had invited an industry expert Mr. Manish Thaker to take a session on stress management. He is in this field since 2013 and have taken sessions on different soft skill topics. At Ecosmob, he has delivered session on the topic, “Stress Management – Thru Alfa – Powerful 7 min take away exercise.”. During his session, he shared many different analogies and stories to explain how stress evolves and people make a big thing out of nothing! He also shared how stress is passed from one to another and make it viral in nearby circle. Really nicely he shared a few very easy to practice habits in day to day life to relive the stress we are dealing with in our daily lives. He also taught a few meditation steps and some cool exercises. He is really good with his sense of humor which kept the session lively. Ecosmobians had a really good time and moreover, now we have the tools to deal with the stress in an effective way.

So this is it for now! I will come back again with some more insights of Ecosmob and the happenings over here. You stay tuned with me at the same place!

The Fun Begins…

Here, the Fun begins…

As we are all set in our new office premises now, management has decided to start the fun activities and events every working Saturdays. I am used to listen about the EcoWings from my team members which was the same type of event, held on every working Saturdays where some of the Ecosmobians came with different activities every time and make others play.

Last Saturday, we had 3 events in our box 😉
1. Eye Check Up Camp
2. GoodBye to an Ecosmobian – Paresh Gehlot (Sabke Favourite one)
3. Talent Star Competition (Exciting one, as I had participated in that 😉 )

It was 10 am and we were waiting to start the first event, Eye Checkup! We were deciding the sequence by our own, who gonna go first for the eye checkup 😀 But, the Talent Star competition had started first near by 10.30 am, I guess. Deepak Sir was hosting the show. We had already given the entries so there were 5 chits with 5 participant’s names in a Bowl. One was supposed to show his/her talent in front of other Ecosmobians within 10 Minutes, but one could ask for more time if they want 🙂 And guess what…? Audience were the judges for this event.

Saturday Event

Saturday Event

Sequence decided by picking up the chits from the bowl and one was the surprise entry of Khushal bhai in the event 😉 I and Priyanka was in the Drawing category, so we started making sketch. She drew a beautiful drawing of ‘Ma Durga’ and I did pen-sketching of books with the cartoony look as it was ‘World Book Day’ on that day. Deepak sir shown his extra-ordinary talent of commentary in the dubbing kind of voice. His act was full of entertainment, really 🙂 Jay presented the scene of the story of ‘Mahadev and Sati’, which was stupendous. And Khushal Bhai shown the magic of playing cards and also exhibit his hidden talent of spinning a plate in his magical fingers 😉 Voting time started. All voted for their favourite talent. Jay was the winner and awarded with the Trophy by our Director, Ruchir Sir.

2nd was a small farewell to Paresh bhai from the family ECOSMOB. He shared some of the best memories and thanked Ecosmob for providing him the stage to grow up and enhance his personality and knowledge, too. Ruchir sir wished him best for his future. In the form of Good Wishes, a Momento was gifted to him from Ecosmob.

3rd was the Eye Check up camp. Our health is always valuable for Ecosmob so there was a free eye check up camp. Two representatives came to our company premises with their eye checking instruments. I was thinking k badha ne ±0.5 power or ±0.25 power number to hoy j 😉 but I have read every letter clearly with the different lenses and they said, mane number j nathii – its 0 power 🙂 so I got to know k aavu na hoy k by default number hoy j 😀 Every Ecosmobian took the benefit for the same.

It was full of zeal and zest. With rejuvenation and refresh mind, Ecosmobian departed and the event has ended. Now, excitingly waiting for the next Saturday 😉

Life Becomes Too Much To BEAR ???

Do you ever feel this thing or ever think about it ? Of course yes ! This is the human mentality.. We start thinking, Life has become so hectic.

We are facing so many problems in regular basis. Some are tiny and some are giant, too :D. I generally think, “Why should I always?” Why I am facing these many complications in my life. But when I replace myself with some other person, I generally find, I am lucky that my life is having lesser muddle! The person can never know the situation of others until he/she faces the same difficulties.

Regardless of how dark things may seem, there is so much to be grateful for. But when I sit down to write a list of elements I am grateful for, the process becomes slow!!! May be after reading this you may sit down and write your own ‘Grateful List’ easily 🙂 Always scrutinize following tips when a thought comes in your mind that your life becomes too much to bear…

Life Is A Gift
Life itself means live in the reality. Welcome each and every aspects, experience and event either they are expected or unexpected.
Our existence is the focal point of universe. We are not ‘in’ the universe, We are the universe. Seize each day, each moment of your life as it’s the last one 🙂 Do what your heart says! Don’t retard the things for future coz kya pataa kal ho na hoo ! 😀

minionLive For Yourself, Not For Others
Don’t be afraid to do something just because you’re scared of what people are going to say about you, People will judge you no matter what! We should be never affected by others’ action or views. So, don’t change yourself just because of others 🙂 Aapne maja aave e karvanu 😀

Don’t Let Others Let You Down
It’s always nice to help others without any expectation, but never be ‘taken for granted’. Never show your weakness to others because people are always looking for the opportunity! They will grab the chance and throw you.

The Future Is On Its Way
Don’t bother to do anything in present by thinking of its future because future is on its way ! Just go with the flow of life 🙂 Even The past is also not the clearest marker of the future. It’s too easy to get caught up in our ideas of the future 😉 The future will be exactly what we fear or the opposite one. But why would you ever limit yourself to projections based off fear? The possibilities are endless.

Health Should Be Your First Priority
The storm of negative thoughts make human sick. Don’t wait till you can’t do anything, Go! Run, jump and play games! More importantly don’t lock yourself in a dark room filling it with angst. Enjoy what you have while you have it, and do your best to keep it.

Friends And Family
The people who know you best 🙂 The people who are always there by holding your hands through thick and thin. Be thankful to them. Spend quality time when you have chance. Show regret and say sorry to them for your misbehaviour, for not picking up calls…At Least Try! The people in our life are precious and for reason so celebration should be there for this valuable bond.

‘Quit’ Is Not Only The Option
By recalling all above points and grateful moments of your life, stop thinking about Escape!!! Because one should never lose the Hope.

And Last but not the least, you may find it funny but this is what i do!

Read “Minion Quotes” 😀

Go deep into the character and just be like them ! You’ll be more than happy trust me 😉 😀

The Nexus World of Dreams

Facts of Dreams

Facts of Dreams

Eagerness always drives a person into deep thinking and thunderstorm. We start researching for that and fall into an intense thinking. At last, the situation is, we ambient with lots of complex thoughts. It happens same here, with me !!! Now, Let me stop writing regarding Eagerness otherwise I’ll keep writing and the topic will be changed 😀

So, let me start here… The blog is all about Sleep, Dreams, Why do we dream? When do we dream? What do we dream? And lots more complex things 😉

I am a Night Owl. People generally call me like this just because, I am an insomniac!!!
Yes, I am regularly unable to sleep. 😀 Don’t know what it is! It can be habitual sleeplessness or inability to sleep. I generally used to see people who love to sleep. I get surprised when someone says, I slept for the whole day and night yesterday or like that, and at the same time I would be thinking, here I even can’t sleep for a night :/ (Mane ratna pan ungh nahii aavti, ane aa loka aakho divas aakhi raat unghe che?!. :/ ) It’s still a mystery why humans and other animals sleep? But then I think, sleep is merely a good way to increase the efficiency. 😀

By searching for Sleep, I just started pursuing about Dreams. I sleep only for 3 to 4 hours in that also, Why do I dream?

Dreams are successions of images, ideas, emotions, and sensations that occur usually involuntarily in the mind during certain stages of sleep.

Why do we dream? It remains unanswered, but some researchers think dreaming might have evolved for physiological reasons. When your head hits the pillow, it lights out for the conscious part of you. But the cells firing in your brain are very much awake, sparking enough energy to produce sometimes vivid and sometimes downright haunted dreams that take place during the rapid-eye-movement(REM) stage of your sleep. When brain activity is high and resembles that of being awake. REM sleep is imparted by continuous movements of the eyes during sleep.

The length of Dream is not fixed, 😀 it can vary. It may last for a few seconds, or approx 20-30 minutes. So, being an insomniac, I also do have dreams cause it is the daily process, but the thing is, we don’t remember our each and every dream every day 😉 Which question should be next now??? Why sometime we remember dreams and sometimes not? B-) After lots of reading, I get to know that Dreams may occur during other than REM too, however, these dreams tend to be much less vivid and memorable. 🙂 Studies show that when people hear a sudden sound or open their eyes, and more brain regions become active and alpha wave is reduced. The average person has three to five dreams per night, and some may have up to seven, however, most dreams are immediately or quickly forgotten.

What do we Dream? Dreams have been seen as a connection to the unconscious mind. They range from normal and ordinary to bizarre. Dreams can have varying natures, such as being frightening, exciting, magical, melancholic, adventurous or problem solving too. They reveal insight into hidden desires and emotions. People use the Dream Catchers – an art and craft of Native American people, which is having a great effect on the catching of positive dreams and in Fashion, too. 😀 The events in dreams are generally outside the control of the dreamer 😀 with the exception of lucid dreaming, in which one is aware that one is dreaming, which dreams can be creative or inspirational. It is also possible to find yourself in some weird and unlike Avatar 😉 Sometimes, we feel things which are happening is already seen by us somewhere, may in the dream or it is happening again, but it’s not like that! This is known as “Dream-Lag Effect”. I was thinking, I was only one with whom this happens, but then I heard from others also about this and felt Ohh, Thank God! I’m Normal. 😀 😉 :p

Opinions for this Dream-theory can be vary from person-to-person. This is what I have found, analyzed and thought of it.

May you like my this Messy Blog about dreams. You can also share your vista about dream with me, anytime 😉

Today, I am still confused what should be the title of this blog! Lol 😀 Because, I have written lots of things which came out whilst digging the mine of Dreams . Yet, they are interrelated 🙂

Auummm…. Let I titled this blog as “The Nexus World of Dreams” 😉

Time To Giggle on Cute Little Innocence

Past two blogs were quite heavy in a way of putting you in a brainstorming stage possibly. So today, I thought to write something light hearten. It might giggle you and make you learn something new. 🙂

We used to come across different interviews, interrogations and curious questions in our routine life. If you are surrounded by kids or me then you might face questions more often than the usual. 🙂 Some of them make their marks in our memory for so and so reason. I would like to share one such incident which I still reminiscence sometimes and giggle.

curious-little-girlMany years ago, okay a few years ago :D, on one fine evening, I was sitting on the terrace of our building and enjoying the wide space, loneliness and the peace of nature. I still love to do this. After a long study day, it was the time to relax myself a bit. A little girl living in the same building of age around 8-9 came to me and sat beside me. When we were sitting over there, a few craws came to the terrace, too. The craws started flying and jumping at some distance from us. I didn’t notice them specifically as it’s normal to have craws on the fourth floor terrace of a building. I was just having “my time”.

The little girl interrupted my lonely, peaceful time by shooting a curious question buzzed her mind, which really made me startled and puzzled for a few moments. The question was, “Do craws get married?”. All the processes going into my brain stopped and another thinking process started on a very quick note. I wasn’t able to neglect or ignore the question because I had read somewhere that if you don’t satisfy the curiosity of kids and don’t answer their questions, then it may sabotage their growth so I had to answer that. I just didn’t want growth of a little girl get suffered because of me. I thought if I will say “No” then the upcoming chain of questions which may take a diversion to the morality can be even more difficult to answer so I took an easy way out and answered, “Yes, they do.”. Then another missile of question was thrown to me, at the same time it was a cute innocent question, too. 🙂 The question was, “Then, why don’t they wear Mangal-sutra?”. Just for your information, mangalsutra is a holly chain type of jewelry worn by the Indian Hindu ladies as a symbol of marriage. Well again, I had to answer this for the same reason as I felt her growth is on stake. 😛 I looked at the craw and answered, “Well, they don’t because they don’t have hands. See, that’s why they are not even wearing the sari!”. Her mother entered into the conversation and rescued me from a kinda ordeal 😛 She said, “What silly questions are you asking? Don’t bother her. Keep silence”. I took a sigh of relief. Though, I wanted to tell that aunt that we shouldn’t do this and must answer questions of kids for their better growth, I didn’t as I was unaware of the loaded cannon of questions she had in her mind.

Though it was difficult one at that time, it used to giggle me today and whenever I recall this. 🙂 The learning of the story here are two:
1. We must answer the curious questions of kids to ensure their growth. Let me quickly answer the reason behind this. As many questions arise in our mind as much we develop our logical and reasoning power. This results in improved learning power. This is the reason kids have better memory, creativity and learning power than adults. If you scold them when they ask questions, they will stop asking and it will affect their growth.
2. I can answer any question. I have a good presence of mind from the beginning. No, this is not self praise, just a knowledge sharing about me 😉 😛 😀

Hope you had giggled, too, on my dilemma. By the way, have you been in any such situation? Why don’t you share with us?

(: Welcome Winter :)

winter1The season for what I am eagerly waiting is Winter. As it has been my favourite amongst all the seasons, I would like to welcome the beautiful season, “Winter”.

In India, we count six seasons in all. Winter is one of them. Cold wind beings to blow since early November and dew begins to fall. Still November and December are never named as Winter, they are called the Dewy Season. Winter begins over the two months – January and February.

It pretty much happens when winter sets in. The shorter days. The longer nights. The chilly winds. And the fact that a lot of our homes are still not heated, which makes it all too easy for us to seek that magical feeling. The one called – Comfort. 😀 😉 If you’re an artist, photographer, or craftoholic, winter provides a great deal of inspiration and different colors to work with. Even if you don’t feel that creative, simply watching a winter scene from the comfort of your home can be a pleasant way to relax and enjoy the peace. 🙂

Just a few more days, for that pleasant weather!!! When the sun comes out very late in the mornings, so the winter sun is mild and warm. There are no more clouds in the sky. The winter sky is clear and blue. Paths are dry. People rarely come outdoors until daylight; most sit indoors in the mornings and evenings. Fog and mist are very common in the winter. People clothe themselves in thick attire during winter to keep their bodies warm. But nowadays, it’s fashion to wear different types of scarves, jackets, etc. 😀 (And I’m one of them, so I used to select many-colored winter-garments. 🙂 )

A tree in a farm field on a misty winter morning

A tree in a farm field on a misty winter morning

When the gelid drops of dew fall on the green turfs, they look as beautiful as pearls. The colors of the rising sun are deep-red. The Sun gives rise to a golden color in the fallen drops of dew. Different kinds of flower bloom in different colors, which make a very beautiful sight.

I like the quietness of the winter’s day, which has so much to say ! The time, in which we can think more, can come up with new ideas, can think about ourselves, can stable our mind. Especially, when my mind and I feel, we need to talk, which ordinarily wouldn’t come our way. I can hear those things which are deep within my heart. I can clearly hear the whistle of a far-off train, ticking of the clock, chirping of birds, also that constant snoozing of alarmclock 😀 which makes us irritate that time in the morning because we want more 5 minutes sleep !!! Indolence wins in this fight between our indolence and time schedule. 😉

I like to be in a cozy spot of the house and to be in one’s favourite cuppa, but a hot one 😉 Like to listen to the wind howl on a chilly night, like to be indoors by the fireside, like to report the beauty of nature during cold, like to lie on the bed and to do nothing and many more. You can also share your activities in the comment which you would like to do in winter 😉

But the thing i don’t like is, it is very cold in winter. People suffer a lot from the biting cold. Poor people are more troubled than the rich. The rich people have their winter garments. But the poor people lie bare in their huts. 😦

So, the conclusion is,
Winter is after all a healthy season as it’s free from epidemics cause of less numbers of flies, mosquitoes and other insects. Hence, we welcome it.

Often times people complain about winter, cursing the cold and praying for the summer, but if we did not have winter, can we truly appreciate summer and vice versa? 😉
